Britney Spears Receives Fat Criticism
Ah, showbusiness will be showbusiness, fair or not. Britney Spears is reportedly struggling to deal with criticism about her weight.
According to Heat, they refer to Spears as "Bulky Spears" and "jelly belly." A source says,
"Britney has been upset by some of the negative feedback she's been getting."
"She's worked so hard on her figure and her fitness."
"She thought she was an unstoppable force, but now it's dawning on her that she's not as revered as she once was, which is causing her upset."
"She feels she's put a heck of a lot of effort into the tour. It's devastating for her to hear the criticisms. We just hope she doesn't take it too much to heart."
The star has allegedly started drinking specially-sourced shakes which include the African tree bark hoodia, thought to help with weight loss.
First Jessica and now Britney - no wonder girls are developing serious self-esteem and weight issues beginning under 10-years-old!

I think if Britney redefined her version of "sexy" she'd get a lot more positive feedback. Less belly, less stretch and sparkle and something more classic sexy. She looks great in corsets! She should be emphasizing her greatest features and wearing maybe a little less revealing outfits and people wouldn't criticize her as much!

get thee a spell check: business, not buisness. not a typo because it appears more than once. Anyhoo. of course she's not fat. She's LA fat, which means size 4 or 6 instead of 0 or 2. which is why it's called la la land.
people just want to see the 17 year old britney, but they forget that she's not a teen anymore AND SHE'S HAD TWO KIDS!!! i dont really like britney, but jeez ppl in the US are shallow.
This sounds like another example of somebody refusing to age gracefully. She's changed quite a bit since that time she stood on stage with a giant snake around her arms - and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But trying to be something you haven't been in a long, long time is a recipe for disaster.
I'd totally kill for her abs! She looks great, but I do think it would be nicer to cover up a bit more. Not because she looks bad, but because it's more... I want to say age appropriate.
