Richard Gasquet: Possible Cocaine Use

Looks like the 22-year-old French tennis player, Richard Gasquet will be missing the French Open after he was suspended Monday when his drug test results turned up positive for cocaine.

While the tennis player is gathering evidence to prove his innocence, The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is putting together a panel in 60 days for a hearing. If Gasquet is found guilty, he could face up to a two-year ban. An ITF spokesman Neil Robinson says,

"He's suspended until the end of the hearing."

"We're now assembling an anti-doping tribunal. The ideal time frame is within 60 days, but people have to fly in from all over the world for it."

The French Open, the year's second major, begins May 24 and the French Tennis Federation withdrew Gasquet's name after the provisional suspension.
