Fifty Cent Says Weight Gain Led Him To Vitamin Water

Rapper 50 Cent sat down with Tyra Banks to discuss everything from making millions off an energy drink to custody battles.

"Sharon Osbourne, she actually started 'Fitty.' She said that on the Mtv Awards and it was just my new name." Jackson also reveals to "The Tyra Banks Show" that it was actually a little weight gain that led him to his very lucrative deal with vitamin water.

"I was training for my presentation for The Massacre album. I was traveling and I was eating a lot of fast food so I kind of got a little heavy. I was trying to find a substitute for soda and I came across it [vitamin water] actually in a gym in Los Angeles…It just worked out…I did pretty good."

Rob Pattinson Got In Shape For His New Movie Role

Rob Pattinson gave up beer and regular meals to get into shape for his role as a toned vampire in much-hyped new film TWILIGHT. The 22 year old admits he was a little out of shape when he landed the role in director Catherine Hardwicke's film and decided it was time to get fit, so he could portray the movie's "ideal man". For two months he spent three hours a day kickboxing and at least two hours running - and he quit drinking alcohol and limited his meals to just one a day. He tells Eonline.com:

"I was just trying to lose, like, every ounce of body fat, so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien.

"I thought that kind of worked for the story. The idea of taking my shirt off and looking like some sort of Adonis? Everyone would just laugh."

But his weightloss plans went awry when he lost too much weight - and Hardwicke scrapped shirtless scenes as a result. He says:

"I just looked so different. I was so much more muscular than I had ever been in my life, but I looked weird."

So, Pattinson gave up his diet regime and admits during filming:

"I was on a full cheeseburger diet."
