Girl band Wilson Philips is making a comeback with their new album and reality TV show this year – but reuniting after eight years (having gone their separate ways in 1993) there’s still a bit of tension amongst the girls, and it has to do with Carnie Wilson’s weight loss.

When Carnie opted for her weight-loss surgery, a tour date had to be cancelled, which angered her sisters/bandmates Chynna Phillips and Wendy.

Chynna told omg!:

 ’Carnie actually waited a really long time before she broke the news to us that she was going to be getting the surgery. It took me by surprise, it was a little bit of a shock.’

But admitting Carnie wasn’t the only one with obligations, Chynna added:

‘I had to do “Dancing With the Stars”, that kind of came out of nowhere, and they understood. I should have had a little more patience with Carnie.’

Carnie only wanted to look good for their new reality TV show, which premiered last weekend.  The show follows the girls as they prepare for their comeback.
