Actor Daniel Craig is 44-years-old, but his body doesn’t look a day over 30.

Daniel committed to an intense fitness regimen to get in shape for his role as James Bond in the latest James Bond movie, “Skyfall” (hitting theaters November 2012).

“The workouts were a blend of power lifting, with a lot of compound exercises thrown in,” Craig’s trainer, Simon Waterson, told British GQ in 2011. “This allows you to work out extremely hard with heavy weights, and because it’s so intense the heart rate is elevated.

“Therefore, you are working not only on the development of nice lean muscle tissue, but you’re also getting a bit of cardio as well, and keeping your body fat down.”

An ambitious and dedicated Daniel, impressed his trainer with his hard work.

“After a few months of training, Dan was lifting and performing like an athlete,” said Waterson.

“He had full focus on what he wanted and the discipline from me to help him execute it. Even now, I still can’t believe the physical changes he achieved. It just shows that with will power and dedication you can achieve anything.”

Craig is married to British actress Rachel Weisz, who herself underwent training to perform a lot of her own stunts in the action flick, “Total Recall.”
