A while ago, I attended Victoria’s Secret LIVE: Very Sexy for Spring 2012 event. The YouTube show had Victoria’s Secret models Erin Heatherton and Miranda Kerr as guests, who talked about their healthy lifestyle regimens – from beauty, fitness, and diet. Let me just say, these women were TALL in person. I mean, I know they are tall to begin with , but in heels, it’s like their legs go on forever.
After the show, Fit Celeb had a chance to chat with the incredibly beautiful and sexy Miranda Kerr.
On cooking health for her son, Flynn:
“I do steamed sweet potato with broccoli and baby spinach all mushed up in there together, and he really loves that. And then in the morning I’ll do [ goats/burts?] yogurt with blueberries and raspberries all mushed up together. It’s all about the mushing! But he does have some little rice snacks that he snacks on throughout the day. I really make sure everything is organic. He drinks coconut water.”
“He’s a very healthy little boy, and loves just munching on little blueberries. And he eats fish as well. And he actually has green juices because we make green juices with kale and spinach and parsley and lemon. He has a little bit of that mixed in with his water.”
On Orlando eating organic:
“He is now, and he loves it.”
“He was very interested and wanted to know, and now he’s probably even more healthier than what I am. Because I know what to do, what is right, but that doesn’t mean that I always do it. Life is about living and having fun and it’s about balance, and I like to be like that. Where as Orlando, is all or nothing. Where i like to have a little bit of both. But if we have anything in the cupboard, or if we have any sweets in the house, he’ll just like go for it and finish them up right away. Where I could just have one little one and then feel fine.”
On growing her own vegetables:
“We do have a vegetable patch in L.A. but where not often there.
On on-the-go snacks:
“I like to take Gogi berries, almonds, blueberries. Before we get on a flight I’ll get a fresh pummel? of blueberries, and we’ll all eat the blueberries, including my son.
Miranda also shared that although she travels a lot, it doesn’t keep her from practicing yoga on the plane.
“Yes, I do yoga on the plane as well.”
