Fit Celeb Chris Hemsworth Talks Diet & Fitness For ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’

Stealing ladies hearts in the movie “Snow White and the Huntsman,” actor Chris Hemsworth has us drooling in our seats as he plays Norse god of thunder.

In order to gain the 20 pounds of muscle for the role, Chris had to lose the weight he had from playing Thor in the movie “Thor”.

In an interview with Time magazine, Chris says:

“I wanted to lose weight and get rid of the bulk from “Thor,” so there was a lot of running, training and eating less. I stripped the weight pretty fast.”

Being light on his feet wasn’t the only challenge, Chris had to have enough upper body strength to swing his sword.

“Obviously there were some Samurai techniques with broadswords and technical movements,” Hemsworth, 28, recalls. “I was working together a few different styles at the same time. When I was young, I used an axe, but never like these characters.”

And gentlemen, if Chris Hemsworth isn’t someone you drool about, then you have the lovely leading ladies Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron.
