Jessica Simpson Denies Weight Watchers’ Pressure To Slim Down To 130 Pounds

New Mom Jessica Simpson Looking To Drop Her Baby Weight As She Visits The Gym

New mom Jessica Simpson is defending her contract with Weight Watchers, after rumors about the weight loss company putting pressure on the singer/actress/fashionista to uphold her contract with them by slimming down to 130 pounds is not true.

Jessica took to Twitter on Thursday to tell her followers:

“Just so everyone knows…Weight Watchers hasn’t put ANY pressure on me,” Jessica, 31, tweeted. “I’m trying to be as healthy as I can be for myself and I feel great!”

With all these celebrity moms losing their baby weight in. Ummm. No time. It’s no wonder people will be watching Jessica under a magnifying glass to see if she can do the same and more so because of her Weight Watchers contract.  On May 1, Jessica gave birth to baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson.

And last month she told People she’s not in any rush to shed the pounds, it’s about living a healthier lifestyle.

“After you have your baby it’s like, ‘Oh my God, what happened to my body? This is not me … It would be nice to feel comfortable, but that’s not my goal … I just want to fit into jeans,” she said.

But Jessica has been spotted hitting the gym.

Weight Watchers announced the partnership with Jessica back in May shortly after Jessica gave birth:

“We’re thrilled that Jessica Simpson has chosen to join Weight Watchers to adopt a healthier lifestyle and inspire others to do the same. Her talent, resilience and positive outlook already make her a great role model, and by deciding to trade in yo-yo dieting for a healthier lifestyle, we know she will inspire many women to join her.”
