Metta World Peace, who has been in Vancouver filming, showed up to play soccer with Struggling Youths in the East Side of Vancouver, Canada.

This LA Laker is holding true to his name and spending some down time with the less fortunate.

But on top of exploring the “beautiful landscape,” he wanted to give back. On Wednesday he paid a visit to the Pathfinder Youth Centre Society in Surrey and the Vancouver Street Soccer League.

Rather than lounging around in his hotel or rushing to get back to America, Metta World Peace was not only active, but proactive. Metta stayed in Canada for several extra days after filming in order to live up to his name.

Metta World Peace said:

I really do like the city — only five days of filming, but I wound up staying an extra 12 days.
