
ECA World Fitness Convention, is an international organization and association representing the wellness and fitness community.
Both gym members and fitness professionals can attend this convention. I know quite a few dance members going to ECA for the amazing workshops taught by some of the fitness industries leading dance instructors like Tony Stone and Calvin Wiley.
As a group fitness instructor I have attended ECA a couple of years ago, and now its exhausting, but oh-so-fun! It’s a whirlwind of awesome fitness workshops throughout the day, and by the end of the weekend you are completely wiped.
In my preparation for five workshops a day – I have made a Trader Joe stock pile. Why? Because there’s not really time to eat in between workshop sessions, and anything in the hotel will by mucho caro (very expensive)! So here is a list of my healthy snacks to hold me over and keep me fueled throughout the intense weekend from Trader Joe’s.
- multi-grain bagels
- almond butter
- fiberful bars
- flaxseed tortilla chips
- powerberries
- greek yogurt
- wasabi almonds
- trail mix
- Zico water
- honey wheat pretzels
- blueberry muesli
