This is interesting....Alec Baldwin, the '30 Rock' star, is commenting on the size of women in Hollywood. It's rare we hear the men voicing their opinions on the often thin actresses, so what does the beefy actor have to say? Apparently a mouthful.

The 51-year-old actor referred specifically to feeling like he would "kill" Renee Zellweger if he ever had sex with the skinny actress.

“Women today are so skinny. If I did a love scene with them, I would crush them. If I did a love scene with Renee, I would kill her!” he said.

Baldwin is often known for his outrageous comments, but I don't see this in a negative light.  I wonder how much of a difference it would make if more men in Hollywood spoke up about actress' weight?

Although Zellweger had gained weight in the past for her role as Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones Diary, she's contemplating about undergoing the vigorous routine of gaining and losing 30 lbs. Rumors have it that Zellweger may be flaunting a fat suit for the movie.

“I don’t know! Isn’t that funny? I get asked that every single day and I don’t know anything. It’s like a rumor!”

Baldwin also talked about balancing the scales between men and women, but not referring to weight - he's referring to the pay scales between the genders.

“I believe we can balance the scales if Tom Cruise would lower his quote by a mere $29 million. I realize this may be a bit unfair since he’s not here to defend himself and I really don’t want to put this all on one man,” he said at Elle magazine’s annual Women in Hollywood dinner and awards show.

“But if I had to, that man would be Tom Cruise… I assure you my salary would not make a difference,” he added.
