Rod Stewart shows no sign of slowing down as he continues to play European football (soccer) in Los Angeles.

Fallout Boy Pete Wentz was invited to play football with the infamous singer in L.A., but had to turn it down due to an injured ankle.  He also admitted being a tad intimidated by Stewart's football skills.

"I did get an invite once but I had to turn down one once as I had broke my ankle a few years back and I was scared I wouldn't be good enough.

"I knew I'd get frustrated if I couldn't play at the level I know I can.

He also added:

"Rod is just so good still. Didn't he used to be a pro? He's also got great hair.

"Hopefully I'll get another invite and I won't say no this time. I'd love to play against him but I'd want to practice!"

I guess we'll have to wait and see if Wentz (30) who is less than half the age of Stewart (64) will get his butt kicked. Who do you think will win, Stewart or Wentz?
