Celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson, is already back to her pre-pregnancy body in just six weeks after giving birth to her second child.
It’s not like she had a lot to lose because she gained pretty much what a woman should gain during pregnancy, a moderate 25-30 pounds, which she did by watching what she ate and staying active.
“A lot of women use pregnancy as an excuse to let their bodies go, and that’s the worst thing,” Tracy says in the new issue of DuJour. “I feel like I’ve lived an entire lifetime since then.”
However, the first time around, Anderson gained 60 pounds during her first pregnancy with son Sam. Since then she’s been an energizer bunny:
“For 13 years I’ve been jumping around, dancing at such high levels all over the world and with no sleep for multiple hours a day,” she says. “I thought, ‘Please, I can bust out an hour of dance aerobics, no problem.’ Wrong!”
Anderson used a Neuro Detox week to help her slim down. She tweeted:

One of Anderson’s A-list clients is actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who she helped get back into shape after her second pregnancy.
“When I first met her, she was stuck,” Anderson recounts. “She had to film the first ‘Iron Man’ and she still had 25 to 30 extra pounds after [giving birth to] Moses and he was already 5 months old. She had tried everything and couldn’t get them off.”
Losing baby weight is on of the hardest things Paltrow has ever done, admitting:
“After my first pregnancy [in 2004], the weight had come off a little bit better, but after the second one [in 2006] it was really stubborn,” Gwyneth said in 2010. “It was really hanging on. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done.”
Even though, Anderson seems to be in phenomenal shape in just six week, she’s still striving to lose the last 10 pounds – but until then, she’s just happy to be moving.
“I missed working out a lot more than I thought,” she says. “The first time I sweat, it felt. like the best feeling. It really was an emotional release.”
Anderson gave birth in May 2012 to daughter Penny via a C-section.
