A month ago, Vogue, had banned the appearance of underage and unhealthy-looking skinny models from appearing on the high end fashion magazine’s pages. So in honor of the magazine’s support for a healthier outlook and the upcoming 2012 Olympics, Hope Solo, soccer goalkeeper, Serena Williams, tennis player, and Ryan Lochte, swimmer, sported swimsuits, in a very Baywatch-esque cover this month. We love Vogue‘s new direction for supporting a healthier definition for “skinny” and the Olympics!

Whether you’re a sports fanatic, like I am, or someone who doesn’t know the difference between a bird, the animal, and a birdie, the shuttlecock used in badminton, the entire world comes together every 4 years to enjoy and cheer on the world’s most amazing athletes compete against one another. I don’t know about you, but the Olympics can’t come any faster!
